Laser


The Laser 1 is a youth/adult class of boat. The Laser 1 combines a single hull with three different rigs:

The 4.7 is the smallest rig (sail and mast), and is suitable for sailors up to the weight of 35 to 55 kg.
The next size rig is called a Radial, suitable for sailors weighing between 55 and 70 kg. The Radial sail is a female Olympic class of boat.
The Laser Standard is the largest rig and has a minimum weight ratio of 60 kg. This is the male Olympic class of boat.
